Scammers are always coming up with new ways to trick people into sending money to fake accounts.
Look out for unsolicited emails and text messages that:
Tell you there is fraud on your account and the only way to stop it is to send yourself money
Request you to send yourself money
Demand you to act immediately
Contain spelling and grammatical mistakes
Ask you to click on a link or open an attachment
When in doubt, play it safe. Don't respond, click links or make a payment. Remember, Ocean Bank will never ask you to send yourself money or call or email you requesting your personal or account information.
